Colourful world made of only three primary colours

Isn’t it Surprising! This Colourful world is made of only three primary coloursThe green grass sways along with the breeze. The fiery red sun rises in the east. The fluffy white clouds float around in the deep blue sky. What colourful pictures. You perceive the colourful beauty of the world through your eyes. How does the eye differentiate among a variety of colours? The Tri-chromatic theory given by Thomas Young Helmholtz in 1802, answered this question. The theory stated that there are three types of cones in our eyes – Red, Green and Blue. A mixture of these three in different proportions enables us to see all other colours. In 1964, scientists proved this theory right.
